N'Guild cooperative agreement
Here is what all n'guild members agree individually and then in common.
- Cooperative
We put in a common network some of our resources, either hardware, bandwidth, knowledge, time, money, attention, support, combined with a infrastructure whose goal is to optimize the common usage of those values for an overall benefit shared beetween cooperants.
- Operational
The main purpose of the cooperation is to be able to provide an full range of services for social enterprises, communities and various ethical groups. We aim to provide a higher quality of service than in traditional heriarchical schemes, with lower structural costs.
- Sustainable
The benefit generated by the cooperative will be used for covering the structural costs and expansion, and for consensual reparation between each cooperating n'gineer. Funds can come from recurrent billing of service provided in case of pre-defined packages, billing per use for services, or funding of a service by a third party for a specific type of communities.
- Governance
We will use the delegated voting system to take common decisions fairly between all n'gineers. A setup phase will be necessary to prepare proper tools. During that phase the governance will be managed by consensual choices in the limited group of founders. The setup phase should not be longer then few months.
- Material contribution
About hardware, each n'gineer keeps all governance of choice on use of his contributed resource, either by direct maintenance or by getting a permanent veto right on the usage of the resource. That veto right concerns integral material resource only, computer parts don't count, it's like expandable resources.
- Immaterial contribution
Each n'gineer that provides immaterial value has to ensure the freedom of that contribution is enforced by a proper licensing, and that knowledge is respectful of the Noosphere.
- Transparency
All accounts and transactions operated by the n'guild and the n'gineers, as far as it concerns contributed or common resources, will have to be public and replicated for maximum reliability.
- Language
We use the English language as a common communication method, but this is only a pragmatic choice - we like diversity and all the n'guild knowledge should be translated as far as possible in as many languages as possible.
